Join us for our annual holiday sale on Saturday December 12th from 10am-4pm. This is the only day in December we will be open so this is the perfect opportunity to pick up a practical, environmentally-friendly gift for that eco-conscience person on your list! We will be offering all of our composters, compost accessories and organic gardening books at our member price of 10% off, as well as serrving hot apple cider and holiday goodies to help everyone get into the spirit of the season!
Our 5th Annual Pumpkin Smash was a 'smashing' success once again! Despite the rains and winds, great fun was had by all! With Thrifty Foods, Ellice Recycle, and the CRD as our partners, we managed to divert over 13 tonnes of jack-o-lanterns from entering the landfill! Over 1,450 CRD residents came out to smash their soupy pumpkins, partake in pumpkin bowling and to meet our mascot Dr. Wiggles. A great big thank you to all our sponsors, partners and many wonderful volunteers who make it all possible!
